Today is a day off from games.
We've played two in our pool and will play the last one in our pool, Egypt, on Sunday. Our schedule today includes breakfast, lunch at McDonalds,
relaxing, shopping trip for snacks and necessities, watch some of the Bosnia v France
game, practice, dinner, relax and more food later.
Coach Showalter and I took advantage of a few hours off to go to the old town area by the river to sight see.

| Basilica del Pilar |
| Caesar Augusta Walls constructed in the 3rd century. |
| Lunch at an outdoor cafe. |
| Entrance to a market selling fresh grocery items. |
| Many fruit and vegetable stalls in the market. |
| Also lots of fish stalls. |
To the arena for game watching and practice.
We took taxis to the arena to catch some of the Bosnia-France game and then had practice there in a practice gym at 5:30.
| Watching the France v Bosnia game. |
| A few tired players. |
| Time for practice. |
The players voted and then headed to Mr. Wok across the street. They have been there three times now I think. The other choices were Burger King or McDonald's. Thanks to BJ Johnson, USA Team Leader, who allows the players extra outside meals. We are provided three meals a day in the hotel team meal room, but our players are usually treated to a fourth meal. USA Basketball treats our players well!
The adults tried a new restaurant recommended by our attache John Paul. And once again it was fabulous! Bogegon Azoque
| The entrance was similar to most we've been at - beef and pork hanging ready to be sliced |
| Charming restaurant. We ate downstairs |
| Duck |
| Sea Bass |
| Steak to be grilled at the table on stones |
| Coach Simon and Coach Showalter grilling their steak. |
| Coach Showalter's chocolate dessert. |
USA Basketball treats the adults very well also. Thanks!!
